Friederike Richter was born in Hanau and began piano lessons when she was seven. During her years at school she was taught music theory and piano at the renowned Hoch Conservatory in Frankfurt.
She successfully completed her Piano studies with Karl Engel, Detlef Kraus and Klaus Hellwig in Hannover, Essen and Berlin where she also successfully passed the Performer's Examination (Konzertexamen). She had artistic training from Bernhard Ebert in Sion (Switzerland) and Guido Agosti in Siena (Italy).
Friederike Richter was a scholar of the German National Academic Foundation and received the Folkwang Prize from the city of Essen. She participated in Young Artists Concerts and won, together with Cellist Christoph Richter, the German Music Competition (Deutscher Musikwettbewerb) in the "Duo" category.
At the Academy for Musical Art she directs a piano class. Due to her commitment to her profession she was chosen to be a juror at many youth competitions and appointed to go to the Ukraine and Singapore.

Yi Kai has been teaching since 2017 and has guided students for grading and for leisure. He has taught beginner children classes from 5 years old as well as beginner adults. Teaching with a customised method based on the students helps to better cater needs of students regardless of age.
Yi Kai has attained Grade 8 Practical in Cello and has been performing frequently since 2016 with many orchestras such as Musician's Initiative (Formerly The Young Musician Foundation Orchestra), Macpherson Philharmonic Orchestra.
